Walking into a unit at Peak, the first thing you notice is likely the ceiling height. Most units sport 9-foot ceilings, which makes even the smaller one-bedroom layouts (starting around 500 sq. ft.) feel airy rather than cramped.
The developer, Royal Living, has a background in custom luxury homes, and you can see traces of that DNA in the finishes. They didn’t just slap in the standard “investor beige.” You’ll find two-tone kitchens that feel a bit more European, sturdy luxury vinyl flooring (great if you have a dog or hate scratching wood), and quartz countertops that are practical for actual cooking.
If you snag a ground-floor unit, you get a terrace that feels more like a patio—great for quick access. Higher up, the glass balconies are decent spots for a morning coffee, especially if you face the Karst.
The Lifestyle
Living here is about convenience and “easy” access.
- The Rooftop: This is the highlight of the amenities. In the summer, it’s where you go to grill a burger and look out over the Escarpment. It’s a nice social valve release if your unit feels a bit tight.
- The Gym: It’s functional. It won’t replace a massive fitness club for powerlifters, but for a treadmill run or dumbbells on a Tuesday night, it saves you a drive.
- The Area: You are practically neighbours with a Walmart Supercentre. Need milk at 9 PM? It’s a two-minute drive or a brisk walk. Need to clear your head? Cross the street and you’re hiking through caves and trails in the Karst.
