When a home is relisted, we chain the listings together, so a “sold in 5 days” that followed two failed listings counts its full time on market. That is the difference between this ranking and the days-on-market figure on a listing sheet.

What a Fast Market Actually Means
A short median market time tells you demand is absorbing supply quickly — sellers get offers sooner and buyers have less time to deliberate. It does not tell you whether homes sell above or below asking; some fast markets clear quickly because sellers price sharply, not because buyers bid up. Pair this ranking with the above-asking report to see which fast markets are also competitive on price.
